Holiday Events in the Ross County Area 2022

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And you know what that means, Ross County gears up for special holiday events throughout December.

Sure, it’s nice to curl up on the couch with some hot cocoa and enjoy the fireplace. Although, plenty of events can soothe the winter cabin fever and are enjoyable with a warm jacket.

We’ve put together a list of the kid-friendly and adult-only types of holiday events and things to do this season in Ohio!

Chillicothe Christmas Tour | Food and Drink

Hosted at Chillicothe’s premier wedding and event venue, The Postmark, the Chillicothe Christmas Tour includes a meal and a historical tour of 12 homes. Held between two days, you can choose whether you’d like to join the lunch or dinner group on day one or the brunch group on day two. Tickets are available for purchase ahead of time.

Plus! The Postmark is working with R Kitchen to provide delicious meals. Dessert is also a part of the ticket price, which will be provided by B&S Delights.

Elf, the Musical | The Majestic Theatre

Pack your coats for a memorable family night out to the theatre! Elf, the Musical is live for a few nights this month in downtown Chillicothe. Based on the cherished 2003 New Line Cinema hit, this modern-day holiday classic will surely make everyone embrace their inner elf while singing aloud from ear to ear.

Photos with Santa!

The annual Photos with Santa Event will occur at the Pump House Center For the Arts. This is a FREE public event, but there’s a limit for sign-ups each hour. To reserve a time slot, click on the link below. After photos with Santa, an all-day skate pass will be provided for the Mighty Children’s Museum skating rink in The Pump House parking lot.

Elf On The Shelf Visits The Frankfort Branch
