First Thursday Fun in Chillicothe: A Community Kick-Off!
What a fantastic start to summer in Chillicothe! This past “First Thursday” event, held on 2nd Street, truly brought the community together for an evening of food, music, and great vibes. The First Capital Rotary Club’s Food Truck event was a huge success, and it’s always wonderful to see so many familiar faces enjoying what the town has to offer.
Attendees were treated to a fantastic array of delicious food trucks, a refreshing beer wagon, and lively music that kept the atmosphere buzzing all night long. But beyond the fun, there’s a powerful purpose behind these events: every dollar raised goes directly back into the community, supporting vital local initiatives and projects that strengthen the neighborhood.
You might have spotted Mike Warren and friends at the admissions gate, just like at all the First Thursday summer events. As a long-time Rotarian, Mike loves being involved and helping to ensure these events run smoothly. His passion for Chillicothe runs deep, and working to raise funds that are then given away to local charities is something he’s truly committed to. It’s incredibly rewarding for him to see the community come out, have a great time, and know that their participation is directly benefiting those around them.
